Come “Journey to the ‘REAL’ Christmas” on December 5th from 1-3 p.m. Through stories, crafts and carols, we will help children learn what Christmas is all about. Fun for the whole family and it’s FREE!!! Refreshments will be served.
Had a great time at Weekend In The Park! I was the chairman of the parade this year. What a rush it was to give the “Go!” signal. I also got to drive a golf cart for the first time. Sweet! We had some radical face painting going on at our church’s booth. My husband Steve is an cartoon artist and was granting kids’ wishes for the coolest body art they could dream up. After the parade, when the festivities were all over, I sat down with the rest of the event staff and started talking about how we could make it better next year. I already can’t wait! Thanks, Davis Junction, for a great time!
